Fresh off Met Gala buzz, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Gold House organization hosted their annual Gold Women Breakfast. This is VS&Co second year partnering with Gold House, and our first year sponsoring the event.
Gold House’s mission is to unite the Asian Pacific community around common causes, invest capital and resources into passionate creators and companies, and show the world how impactful they can be in every industry and endeavor. In this vein, Gold Women is an initiative connecting powerful AANHPI women in executive and creative leadership. The event was a combination of interactive wellness sessions and intentional conversations.
We sent two influencers who work closely with VS&Co and three associates to represent the brands. Read on to learn more about these inspiring women.
Priscilla Yun (@priscell.aa)
Yun is a college student at UCLA and is a long-term PINK influencer. She wore PINK’s Cambridge Knit Cropped Vest paired with the Tech Stretch Pleated Tennis Skort.
“The Gold Women Brunch was an amazing opportunity. To be in a space with so many influential Asian Pacific women left me motivated and uplifted! Thank you so much to VS PINK for having me.”
Nicole Mehta (@nicolemehta)
Mehta is a long-term Victoria’s Secret influencer. She wore the Victoria’s Secret Satin Maxi Skirt.
“The Gold Women’s Brunch was such an honor to be a part of! Bringing together women from the AANHPI community to celebrate each other as well as meet likeminded individuals from different backgrounds was not only heartwarming but truly inspiring.
Whether I was meeting someone from the VS team or connecting with women leading other companies or supporting the AANHPI vendors hosting the brunch, I walked out of the brunch proud of everything AANHPI women have accomplished and grateful for a space that acknowledges that.”
“It was an honor to attend the Gold Gala Breakfast this year—it was an amazing opportunity to connect and network with other AANHPI women and their businesses. I walked away feeling rejuvenated and inspired by our community and am so appreciative of all the work that Gold House and VS do to support AANHPI women!”
Karen Cheng, Sr. Merchant
