VS&Co Celebrates Women’s History Month

At Victoria’s Secret & Co., we are committed to supporting women in everything we do, putting them at the forefront of our product creation, associate benefits, philanthropic efforts, and more. We’re excited to shine a spotlight on our initiatives for this month and throughout the year that celebrate our bold and courageous community of women.

Our associate-led Inclusion Resource Group (IRG) for women and allies organized a variety of events focused on the theme of “Moving Forward, Together” that are all about the transformative power of unity. Read on to learn about our activations for the month and beyond.

Taking Up Space in Fashion: A Journey of Influence with April Lockhart

We hosted an uplifting conversation with April Lockhart, a Forbes 30 Under 30 content creator and self-proclaimed “Disabled Fashun Girlie”, who is on a mission to empower her followers to love and accept their bodies and take on the world.

Women-Owned Business Marketplace & Pop-Up Shop

We also curated a marketplace highlighting women-owned businesses at our home offices in New York and Columbus.

By giving these small businesses space to showcase their work, we’re not just highlighting their products, we’re helping to drive their growth and strengthening the communities we serve.

Fireside Chat: The Part Mental Health & Belonging Plays in the Careers of Women with Dr. Jess

Dr. Jess, mental health and wellness expert, will lead a conversation with associates where she explores and offers insights into how mental health and belonging play a pivotal role in women’s careers.

Community Outreach: Get Engaged & Involved to Support Our Community Partners

We’re thrilled to partner with Dress for Success and host a donation drive at our Columbus, Ohio office. The organization’s goal is to provide women with tools for success through workforce readiness and employment retention programs. Part of that is their Interview & Employment Suiting program, which offers women clothing, free of charge, that makes them feel empowered, look great, and go into job interviews with confidence. VS&Co is proud to contribute to an organization helping women right here in our community.

Our Year-Round Initiatives to Support Women Around the World

The Victoria’s Secret Global Fund for Women’s Cancers

The fund was established to accelerate innovation in cancer research for women, by women. With an initial commitment of $10 million, this groundbreaking initiative will do the following:

  • Fund innovative research aimed at improving outcomes for women’s cancers
  • Invest in the next generation of women scientists who represent the diverse population they serve
  • Inspire and educate millions of women around the world through cancer awareness, screenings, and prevention campaigns

VS&Co Essentials Program

Through this initiative, we are honored to support women and young adults in need by providing them with quality essential undergarments. By the end of this year, we aim to provide more than one million individuals with essentials undergarments to help them feel more confident and supported as they work to overcome life’s obstacles.

Creating Products that Support Women

We’ve created (and expanded) collections that prioritize women’s needs like mastectomy, maternity, adaptive, and expanded size ranges and colors. This work continues as we learn more and more about what women want and need in their daily lives.

Jenn is the Copy Director at Victoria’s Secret and has spent the past 10 years writing for brands like Club Monaco, Free People, SoulCycle, and more.
