Barbara Palvin Joins the Cast of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024

We can hear you cheering from here.

Yes, it’s true, Barbara Palvin is walking the runway on October 15. Read below to get her thoughts, feelings, opinions, and everything else you could dream of from the superstar herself.

Q: How does it feel to be part of the show’s return?

A: “It feels incredible! Being part of the show’s return is such an honor, and it’s exciting to be back with a brand that has been a big part of my journey. There’s something magical about walking the runway for Victoria’s Secret, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it again.”

Q: What does the show’s return mean to you?

A: “The return of the show represents a new chapter, not just for me but for the entire industry. It’s about embracing confidence, diversity, and strength. For me personally, it’s a moment to celebrate everything I’ve achieved since I last walked, and to be part of something so iconic once again.”

Q: What are you most excited about?

A: “To reunite with all the amazing people behind the show, and to feel that adrenaline rush of walking the runway. I also can’t wait to see how the show has evolved to reflect the new values of empowerment and inclusivity. Also, the musical performances!”

Q: What do you think the show returning means for other women?

A: “I think the show’s return will inspire women to embrace their individuality and strength. It’s not just about beauty or fashion anymore, it’s about empowerment and celebrating who you are, no matter your shape, size, or background.”

Q: What’s your first memory with Victoria’s Secret?

A: “I have so many good memories with Victoria’s Secret. My first was shooting with VS PINK in NYC. My second was for the Victoria’s Secret Christmas commercial with all the legends. It was filmed in this beautiful castle, and I couldn’t believe I was there! The commercial aired during the 2012 VS Fashion Show, and it was surreal to witness and be a part of it.”

Q: What’s life like off the runway?

A: “Life off the runway is much more laid back when not busy with work. I spend a lot of time with my husband Dylan and our pets, Piggy and Klaus. I love cooking, watching anime, and just relaxing at home. It’s a nice contrast to the fast-paced world of fashion.”

Q: How do you feel most strong?

A: “When I’m surrounded by loved ones, especially my family. They keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of staying true to myself.”

Q: What’s one thing you wish more people knew about you?

A: “I think people might be surprised to know how much I love nature. Fishing by the lake with a book is one of my favorite ways to unwind.”

Q: You’ve walked in the VSFS before—how does this time feel different?

A: “This time feels different because the brand has evolved, and the focus is much more on empowerment and diversity. It’s exciting to be part of this shift and to represent something that aligns with my values.”

Q: What are you most excited to see return?

A: “I’m excited to see the incredible creativity and energy that the show always brings. The production, the outfits, and the atmosphere are unmatched, and I can’t wait to feel that magic again.”

Q: Similarly, what are you most excited to see change?

A: “I’m excited to see the shift toward inclusivity and representation. The fashion industry is changing for the better, and I think this show will reflect that by celebrating a broader spectrum of beauty.”

Q: How have you changed as a person/model since your last time walking in the show?

A: “I’ve grown so much personally and professionally. I’m more confident in who I am, and I’ve learned to prioritize balance in my life. Being married and working on different projects has also given me a new perspective on what’s important.”

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment since we last saw you on our runway (personal, professional, or both!)?

A: “One of my biggest personal accomplishments has been getting married to Dylan. Professionally, becoming an ambassador for Longines and exploring acting have been huge milestones for me.”
